Rebecca graduated from Auburn University Cum Laude in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting, and went on to earn her Master of Accountancy (Tax) Cum Laude in 2001.
Rebecca started her career as a Tax Consultant working in Big 4 Accounting and earned her Louisiana Certified Public Accounting designation in 2002. She obtained her reciprocal Alabama designation in 2003. After several year public accounting, she took an accounting position in a Fortune 500 company. Over the past 17 years, Rebecca has worked in the areas of Personal and Estate Planning, Forensic Accounting, IRS controversy, Corporate Tax and Accounting, and Consulting. Rebecca joined Strategic Tax & Accounting, LLC as a Senior accountant in 2018 and is responsible for client bookkeeping, tax preparation and consulting.
Rebecca is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana and attended Academy of the Sacred Heart where she graduated Cum Laude in 1996. She has served on various Executive Nonprofit Boards, and held numerous volunteer leadership positions including with the Junior League of Birmingham and Brookwood Forest Elementary. She and her husband, Curtis, have one son, Jackson. They enjoy spending time on the water, traveling, and Auburn Football.
